saw I graph somewhere that said 24% had not backed up properly losts apps etc but the biggest one that I saw was 6% of devices ended up bricked.

All I can do is laugh, it seems that in the process of porting android to iDevices apple screwed up :D

I updated to iOS 5 Gold Master last Wednesday... Still waiting on an untethered jailbreak. Haven't tried iMessage yet. It seems faster than 4.3.3 and no animation lag like last time.

It's working nicely for me; only problems I had were discovering the lock screen camera button and pinch zoom for the camera...

@GameJunkie Does the message you're trying to send come up with a red '!' on the device you're sending it from?

GameJunkie

@Bot: yes , that's exactly what happens

GameJunkie

Maybe. I've sent iMessages between iPad & iPhone both connected to home wifi.

I've dug a little more and maybe using googles dns servers might help but other than that

GameJunkie

Managed to get it to work

Switched to googles dns servers then tried sending a message and it worked

Switched back to getting the dns servers automatically from the ISP and it works off their dns servers and it still works fine now

Weird but hey all is good now
