View Full Version : What's behind the startup screens?

Mostly when your PC starts all you see is the Windows XP or Win7 startup logos.

What I would like to know is how do you over-ride these so you can see what the BIOS is loading before the system boots, anyone able to help?

Or change the BIOS so it does not show the Logo.

Yup disable the logo if its an ASUS. Or press esc.. There's not much to look at anyway

And turn off Quick (or Fast) Boot in the BIOS too.

By the time you're seeing a Windows Logo, the BIOS has long finished it's startup tasks and the OS itself is loading.
