Hi everyone am in need of some help. Have got a replacement lid for my fujitsu amilo pro v3505 and there are two thin wires attached from a bracket at the top of the lid, and two thin wires that come from under the keyboard. Where do these go? am struggling big time.Any suggestions would be much appreciated many thanks jon.

Welcome to PressF1. They will be for the Wifi antenna. Normally under a panel on the underside of the notebook - take off the panels and you should be able to remove the plugs (be careful not to bend them, and note which way round they are on) and then pull the wires through. you'll probably need to remove the keyboard too.

Laptop lid assemblies generally have 2 thin wires for the WiFi card (most certainly WiFi if they have small gold connectors on the end) And then you'll have one thicker cable for the video connection, inverter power and often the webcam if there is one.

Webcam and\or mic (if in the lid) may be separate though.

However, are you talking JUST about the lid, or the whole assembly with LCD etc as well?
