Always amuses how someone manages to drag up old songs, and changes them  Not to bad.

Rather like the remake By Smokie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlzn9lVUMtE&feature=related) For the "good peoples" the words are not beeeeeeeeeeeped :punk

William Webb Ellis is buried "in a corner of a foreign field"
http://www.mentondailyphoto.com/2007/07/webb-ellis-inventor-of-game-of-rugby.html

According to an article in the latest edition of The Listener (about NZ Rugby songs) the oldest is "On the Ball" September 10th 1887.

Lighten up! This was a nice piece of satire and was posted in the hope it would entertain the troops. BTW "pre-eminent" does not necessarily mean longevity. Additionally, no disrespect was meant towards the Rev. Ellis.

Smile :o

Haven't we all broken the law by downloading this since it's adapted from a copyrighted work? (and probably was done so without permission!)

Yep ... and I hear there's a reward offered to those who dob people in that download / stream copyrighted material ... I've been keeping a record (including a link posted by a mod to a website that is also copyrighted) ... I intend to retire in style.

New /BQ and automatic replenishing fridge full of Speights ... and a waitress that the wife wont know about ... :D
