View Full Version : MS Word security window driving me nuts

23-08-2011, 10:27 PM
I don't know what I did. But I can't stop this message Attached file: Word.jpg (http://www.imagef1.net.nz/upload/Word.jpg) (114 KB)
popping-up every time I open MS 2010.

Can someone please walk me thru the solution? All the help pages I've seen describe the solution in a confusing fashion

Looks like some acrobat plugin can cause that message. Are any acrobat programs installed?

Check and see what addons have been installed

Does / did it install any addons into Office / Word? Is Office the full version or a trial?

Office is full version. How do I detect add-on installs?

Go to help and type add-ins. See where they are. I dont use Office 2010. So, I have no idea where the option is

no add-ins from Adobe listed.

Its a Macro / Security problem - Try these here (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-word/error-the-function-you-are-attempting-to-run/754c4f1d-532c-4eb3-a7f6-05384141224d)

File, Down to Options - Follow the red brick road (http://www.imagef1.net.nz/upload/Word_Arrows.jpg) :p
