By and large, I would agree, but it depends on if it's a local file that is just blocked temporarily, or a web-based threat that it's put up the shields against.

As Speedy said though, if it's a local file that's a threat, then simply deleted it.

Also, you may want to be more specific in your subject in the future. It's a help forum, so pretty much every thread is a question, but it's helpful to put something more "meaningful" in the subject such as "Antivirus alerts" even.

Install Microsoft's AV program (http://www.microsoft.com/en-nz/security_essentials/default.aspx). And uninstall AVG. I would disable system restore first. Then install MS's one. Then do a full scan. What is it? A virus or a trojan?

To be honest , it's says threat blocked .The results does not say whether it is a trojan or any other threat but there is a clue to know of . It is a W32 virus , which i guess it is a trojan, worm or spyware . What do you think , what should i do . I will try with what you said

Remove AVG.
Restart PC
Install Microsoft Security Essentials

Try again to remove it :)
