View Full Version : Chrome Browser has died. Always times out

(Funny - thought I'd posted this. But can't find it in the Forum.)

I have two computers both with Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Yuk IE.
They share a router and they use the same AV software.

Suddenly, the desktop's Chrome will do nothing but timeout, with Error 118 (always, all sites).

A Google search reveals many complaints about this. But none of the suggested solutions work.

Can anyone solve this?

I like Chrome, it loads FAST. But on this one machine it works no longer. The other browsers still work fine on that machine.

Youre not using Bitdefender are you?

Try uninstalling it and then reinstalling?

Try this
Go to Google Chrome Icon - Right Click Properties,
Under Compatibility Tab, Uncheck "Run this Program in Compatibilty Mode for :
Click Apply and Ok,

I had this problem I fixed by deleting everything that had to do with google chrome then reinstalled
