sent an invite to my brother who's 16.

he clicked on the join google+ link in the email but a page opens saying "
This feature is not available for your account." and
You must be over a certain age to use this feature.

anyone else come across this issue???

Yes from what I have read you have to be 18 to join G+
Facebook is looking at doing the same.

(Unverified at this point in time.)

You have to be 18 or over to join Google+, as content filters aren't in place or something like that.

Im on Google+ and im 15, my gmail account has my correct age too.

It's annoying, I ****ed up my age on one account and I couldn't change it. Had to make a new one :mad:
