Logitech K120 - no response after plugging the USB in, sposed to be P & P - window appears with
"the software you are installing for this hardware, USB composite device, has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Win XP"
choice stop or continue, so continued seeing as i wasn't installing software
shows a fault in Device Manager - now what? - anyone help please

Click on yes anyway, if it gives you the option. Did you try installing setpoint (which probably doesnt work anyway)

yeah I did Speedy, the "found new hardware" wizard appeared, followed the prompts, wizard "finished installing" ok, repeat from the wizard & so on & on etc. - got nowhere down that road - what's setpoint?

no that didn't work - there's two files so got them both but no luck, still nothing

Have no idea then. Is XP up to date (inc SP3)??

Have you rebooted? :)

If your mouse or keyboard is connected to the PS/2 port and you want it to be recognized by SetPoint, you’ll need to activate the PS/2 driver. To do this:

1. Open SetPoint and select the Tools tab.
2. Click the "Install PS/2 Driver" button (if the button is unavailable, a PS/2 driver is already installed).

You may need to do the above also (from the install instructions on the page Speedy pointed you at).

go to your control panel and go to your hardware settings and see if you can add new hardware
