Here's a cool tip for Windows 98, ME or XP:
Add Google to your desktop - just right click the following link and click Save target as:

<a href='http://www.geocities.com/george467/google.txt'>google.txt</a>

Save it in C:\WINDOWS\Web as Google.HTM. Now add it to your active desktop: Right click the desktop, select active desktop and click 'customize my desktop'. Click Add, No, and type in C:\WINDOWS\Web\Google.HTM in the location box. Now click OK. This looks best on a white desktop background, but you can still have anything you want. Clicking the logo will go to GOOGLE.COM or type your search in the box and click 'Search Google'. A browser window will open and your search results will be displayed.

<HTML><BODY>
<center>
<FORM method=GET action='http://www.google.com/search'>
<TABLE bgcolor='#FFFFFF'><tr><td>
<A HREF='http://www.google.com/'>
<IMG SRC='http://www.google.com/logos/Logo_40wht.gif' border='0'
ALT='Google' align='absmiddle'></A>
<INPUT TYPE=text name=q size=25 maxlength=255 value=''>
<INPUT type=submit name=btnG VALUE='Google Search'>
</td></tr></TABLE>
</FORM>
</center>

</BODY>
</HTML>
