I mean SP1 and 2 for the program not windows. How big are the videos youre importing / trying to edit?? Are any over 4 GB?? This may be the prob. The program (since its 32 bit) can close if theyre over 4 GB (while youre editing). Its happened to me before

I have loaded the 2 update but still no luck .the video size 144mb,frame widith 1920,frame height 1080,data rate 12709kbps,total bit rate 12537 kbps. all this means nothing to me so hope this is usefull . Speedy Gonzales what did you do to fix your problem ?

144mb shouldnt be a prob, its not over 4 GB. I didnt use / dont have Digital Studio. But I did use another Corel program (Videostudio). I didnt fix it. I gave up. Since the file I was trying to edit was over 4 GB. It may have worked if I used a 64 bit program.

Can DVD maker load the format this cam recorded in?

Are you talking about Corel DVD maker or windows , windows media player is ok but windows movie maker 2.6 wont let me do anything.I went to town today and went to some shops that sell Panasonic hd cameras and asked which soft wear they would sell with these cameras all said a adobe soft wear even some had the 2 soft wear on the self and all picked adobe so think might have to use it, all did not know much about corel problems .

Windows DVD maker, its part of windows. Dont think its a corel prob, it maybe a file format prob.
