Interesting article , showing who actually makes the rebranded PSU's & whats lacking in the cheapies

Also shows what to look for , re protection circuitry,105 degree caps etc.

What to look for is something built by a reputable manufacturer and which uses high quality Japanese capacitors, or Samxon but NOT the GF series.

Some designs are good but just use junk capacitors, in which case replacement with decent ones results in a good PSU.

105C means nothing, there are plenty of Chinese and Taiwanese capacitors rated for 105C which are rubbish.

Note that for the real cheap PSUs the UL numbers etc are usually made up, don't exist or trace back to a good company and which are clearly lies.

HongKongFlyApart PSU made by Antec? I don't think so...
