Morning all, does anyone know of some good software that's able to recover a borked RAID0 setup?

I'm trying iRecover (http://www.diydatarecovery.nl/irecover.htm)at the moment, it seems reasonable so far. It's one of those where you can see what it can recover, and then you pay for it.

Any further comments on that software, or has anyone used another with some success? Thanks. :) :badpc:

I didnt know you could recover from a stripped array, there is no parity

My thought too, until I found iRecover. Don't know if it's actually going to work though.

Depends on the type of failure. If it's a controller issue rather than a drive issue (i.e. both drives are OK) it can sometimes be rebuilt and/or recovered.

True - both drives pass a diag test. I think the controller has pooed itself and has stuffed the filesystem on one of the drives. This iRecover thing seems to be able to see basically all of the data. I'm very impressed with it! it's not cheap to actually but though, $89 USD with a 20% discount.

Nice, thanks Speedy. I've been pretty impressed with easeus stuff in general so I'll give that a shot too.
