In my experience all programs which claim to detect viruses and then want you to pay to remove the viruses are in fact viruses themselves.

This may not be true in 100% of cases but why bother when there are good free alternatives anyway.

Have a look at some of the reviews on this site (http://reviews.cnet.com/internet-security-and-firewall/stopzilla-3-0/1707-3667_7-30633015.html) and you won't want to touch the product.

why would cnet continue to host this after it is proven again and again to be as bad/worse than the malware it's supposed to remove?

lol yer right. I 've never used stopzilla myself. So, why would I tell anyone else to get / use it
