Acer's Hidden Partition

Have lost the password for the eRecovery utiltiy. I know that the passwoard is stored in the ' AIMDRS.DAT' file of the hidden partition but problem is, I can't 'see' hidden partition in Windows of in DOS.

Have tried to run Ubuntu 10.10 from CD but to no avail. What other alternatives to access the hidden partition and retrieve the password?

Done that but still doesn't show the hidden partition.

Downloaded and installed Slax Linux CD works brilliantly. :)
