I have a desktop that I do all my printing from and itís connected to the Internet and a wireless laptop that is also connected to the Internet, so what do I have to do so I can print from my laptop? Can I put a wireless card in the desktop? Do they make USB wireless cards for desktops? This is all new to me.

You can get wireless for laptops and desktop. You have to buy a wireless adapter (PCI or USB) for the desktop. Since the laptop already has it. Then configure both. What version of windows is on both?

If both are connecting via the same router then they are both connected to the same LAN already, so you DON'T need to buy a wireless card for the desktop!

Just share the printer on the desktop and connect to it from the lappy.
