Good morning
Mrs Theother1's computer is doing a weird thing.
At start up it gives a two toned beeping sound and then turns off again. "high, low, high, low, high, low, turn off!"
Anyone there who can pointme in the correct direction?
Regards
Rob

CPU over heating?

I have just taken the side off and vacuumed the innards.
Seems strange that the CPU would over heat when it had only been running for 10mins. Maybe a fan?

What BIOS do you have?

Is your heat-sink properly sitted and free of dust? The CPU gets heated up pretty fast.

Thanks guy's,
The vacuuming seems to have done the trick. Have also relocated the box off the floor, that will enable mrs to1 to vacuum the office more effectively:thanks
