I can not fit my cdrw in my computer. I have pulled off the fornt cover and there is no way it could fit in, it is all welded down bits.
What can I do? If I want my cd-rom and cd-rw in the computer????

By welded down, do you mean the metal covers for the empty bays? Its OK to remove them.

you can buy an external caddy for cdroms etc for about $160 from most pc shops or dick smiths,I tried one on my old hp8250 writer & to be honest it wasnt very successful,I ended up taking it back & buying a usb external writer,A new case would be a cheaper option at about $100.
But make sure as BM says that the metal plate on your case isn't removable as they are quite often just held in by a lug on each corner & easily removed with a pair of pliers.

I have an ATX mother board. Do I have to buy a special type of case for it, or will most cases fit it my mother board?
Is it easy to insall new casing?
