hi all. just a quick question or two. i need to replace a screen for a netbook - eMachines 250 - it dropped on the ground and the display is beyond messed up. I'm super tech savvy so i am going to attempt to buy and replace mine.

Do I have to replace the inverter board as well?

Most importantly - does anyone know a site for discounted parts, etc. that does not require a credit card? All I have is an online bank card for direct deposit disability payments that acts as a debit card.

thanks for the help.

Google is your friend. Just a few of the sites I found.

I got excellent service from www.gigacomputers.co.nz when I needed a laptop keyboard.

Can't see why you would need to replace the inverter board. Presumably it is not permanently attached to the screen?

Don't want to sound rude or anything but if you're "super tech savvy" shouldn't you already know if you need to replace the inverter or not? :p
