Have a mate who's after a replacement all-in-one modem wireless router for his overheating Dynalink; is this (as per Chill's blog) (http://pbtech.co.nz/index.php?item=MODNCM1065) still the one to go for?

I don't know too much about this topic but I had one of those and I was not impressed with it.
When pinging it added some sort of delay to the return causing all sorts of problems. This delay did not appear with any other router.

Depends on what your willing to spend really. Personally I like Draytek fantastic support very good modems but they aren't the cheapest

Replaced my overheating Dynalink with the one in the link and would not go back, it's great.

I got one of those about a year ago too, to replace the heap of **** Linksys WAG160n that overheated, and it's still going hard, I reckon it's the best 'cheap' all in one to go for still.

What razzarphenix said, and I think I mention it in my blog post. If you've got the money, Draytek are a bit better quality, but probably not so much aimed at the home / home-office market. I'd go for the one in that link if I was you :)
