Can someone help with what is probably a very simple problem - but not to us...We have a Linksys WRT54G hooked to a 3-4 year old Dell computer, operating on some kind of PC platform....the past administrator left without logging password for laptop users to access the system...to correct we had new employee log on and access Linksys with http://192.168.1.1, and then log on as 'admin' - she did this and now the laptop works famously - fast and accurate, BUT - now the desktop PC when started up goes to Linksys log on page, and once log on is made, opens into Linksys configuration page - and the employee cannot navigate away from the page - seems she is stuck there..how do we get out of Oz

System is in Belize Central America, and i am writing from California USA to assist them - facility is an Avian rehabilitation and release facility (NGO) and a small eco-lodge to support it

I don't really understand all of that. You only have to log into the Linksys when you want to change any settings in the modem you don't have to log in each time with the modem admin username and password. Have you set the browser homepage up with 192.168.1.1 so when the browser starts it brings up the modem admin page. If so just ignore it, don't log in and go to another website or change the browser homepage to something like Google.

So the browser on the desktop PC always opens with the Linksys as the homepage and you cannot browse away from that page? Can you open another tab and then open another website?
