Yes, vaccines, hospitals and seatbelts should be banned for promoting a negative attitude.

They probably don't make it but they certainly hype it up to make more money and our old mate Al Gore is in the thick of that too.

These vaccines were brought into the country as part of a contingency plan against a possible H1N1 epdemic. Thank god they were not all needed. If the 300,000 doses had been used up as a result of an epidemic we may have had to wait 3 months for a resupply.

and how often are we going to get suckered in to spending millions on the next global disaster that is going to hit the earth?

On a contrary scenario, should the epidemic be a true epidemic, people will die and those that survive will complain that not enough measures were taken to prevent the needless deaths.

Can't please everyone I suppose.

So?, The drugs have zero affect on the flu and wouldn't have saved anyone's life, They merely alleviate some of the symptoms.

Interesting lot of figures but nothing showing any comparison with previous years so they don't mean much

That was definitely one I was thinking of but didn't want the thread to go off on too great a tangent.

I must confess that the “Dumbing Down” of the nation, by this and preceding governments, has been a huge success. :groan:

We now have our pre-school children being indoctrinated with the beliefs of the touchy, feely, politically correct, tree huggers.

By the next generation they won’t be able to think for themselves and will accept as fact anything published by the media.

The question is what can the rest of us do to stop the rot?
