So about a week ago i boot up my PC as usual, and i decided i need to uninstall some crap, when in noticed that my space had dropped about 20gb from my hard drive (was 120) and i was a bit puzzled because i hadnt downloaded anything for the past 2 weeks, a few days later i log on again and its gone up to 117 gb, and today i log on and it was on 101 gb, i decide i need to delete some stuff because i dont want it getting too low, so i delete my fraps folder (about 2.5gb) and i check again and it went DOWN to 100 gb.
What is going on!? i have done disk defragment and disk cleanup but neither have done anything helpful, HELP! :crying

Kill hibernation and system restore. Then turn SR back on. Thats probably where some of its gone. And use ccleaner to remove temp files etc

What version of windows is it. Look under power in control panel. If hibernation is ticked untick it.

ok. So, what version of windows is it? Press the windows key + pause / system restore tab. Or advanced system settings . Disable / untick it
