I have just had my BSOD in years and it read the following

Stop: 0x0000008E (0xC000001B, 0x89DAEBC4 0xA83258C0, 0x00000000

Anybody know what this is?

What version of windows, WHEN does it happen? Does it show the name of a file or driver? Will it boot into safe mode?

Search some of the previous posts with BSOD in the title, I've explained it more than once on how to read the dump files.

Windows XP Home SP3. It has happened when I am on the internet.

Doesn't show the name of the file at all.

Boot into safe mode / networking. See if its stable. If it is, there maybe something on your system thats crashing it. How long does it take for it to crash?

Cause of STOP 0x0000008E Errors

STOP 0x0000008E errors are usually caused by memory hardware failures and more rarely by device driver issues, viruses, or hardware failures other than your RAM.
