Hi,

Might be a silly question but Im looking for a free backup/imaging solution that will take a snapshot of the physical data on the drive not the whole drive size (200gb of a 1tb drive)

What is my best option?

There are several good ones. I find Macrium Reflect a very good (and free!) product.

ctrl-c, ctrl-v :pThat isn't a snapshot, nor does it capture the physical data, it only captures existing files.
