Computer has decided it wants to double size of font or what all lettering is called, what does that come under to teach it a lesson and return to what it was?

Thanks lads.

Does the entire desktop look smaller too? If it does, then your monitor resolution must be wrong.

Have a look at the display properties and see what the settings are. If you don't know how to do this, post back with what version of Windows you use and the size of your monitor.

You need to change the resolution on the monitor to be higher. In Win7 on mine it's control panel > nVidia but you may have a ATI card.

It can also be the display properties font size.

Hold down the Control button and roll the wheel on your mouse up or down :)

That works within a web page etc. but that is not what he wants.

If everything is larger, it sounds like a resolution or DPI change to me.

Sometimes, Windows just does things like that for no good reason.

Running a game can do it for example.

Must be something else as I don't do games.

I wondered that, but felt that it was worth the comment :)
