View Full Version : Boot disk to format my drive

I'm trying to get a boot disk to format my drive. I've tried Windows 7 DVD, Seagate Utility and so far I can't get a boot disk. I guess I'm doing something wrong. So how can I get a boot disk so I can format one of my partitions?

Linux. Try Puppy since it's a small download but why do you need to? What does the Win7 DVD say when you try using that?

Is this related to this? (http://pressf1.pcworld.co.nz/showthread.php?t=113470)

how are you going about doing the formatting? Boot from the Win7 DvD and follow the instructions to format it. Or you can pull the drive out and connect it to another computer and than format it.
