PDF difficulty.

Hi folks, I am not able to access PDF files from IE. PDF recieved via email is ok, on attempting to download IE ones, there is a box showing "IE has experienced a problem and needs to close". On closing this box, it re-appears several time before sometimes closing IE. I have reinstalled the latest version of both IE and Adobe Reader. Any ideas what else I can try?

Might be an addon you've installed for IE. What version of windows, and what version of IE did you reinstall? Try another PDF program like foxit or sumatra

Hi Speedy, XP Home S/P 3 and IE 8 from Oct P C World DVD. Have had no probs till a couple of weeks ago.

Just open abode reader and at options>preferences, deselect open in browser under the internet options....
