They don't make phones like before ..

Larger and individual 9 buttons than just a row strip or virtual buttons.
A larger phone so it can be held with both hands.
A larger screen for the siimpler phones, easier on the eyes too without the need to pull out eyeglasses.

They got a Samsung 1070 I think it was, dual band GSM for $50.
I have a 6210 lying around but I forgot the PIN #
*Not the big LCD one .. the traditional 6210 or the 6310i its update.

Easter this year old guy in our team for two day seagull race down the Waikato river refuses ever to own a cell phone. Alone in his boat which was heavy and slow couldnt find him had to send a jetboat up river.
Next year he is going in my mates boat if he wont take a phone with him. If get like that when I am old drill me with a 308 bullet thru the swede please.

Does anyone have a Nokia 6210 or 6310 lying around
May also be interested in a computer data cable, if that can reset the pin number on my current one.

They seem not too impressed by the Samsung :D

well, maybe it is easy to use a larger one. when my parents had their first cellphone, they could not send messages by themselves. after studying for a long time, they made it easily, lol

It seems like a very old phone :D
No one seems to have the data cable.
If the PIN # is 5 digit maybe I would brute force it manually, I feel young again.
A friend of mine picked up a Casio Databank wristwatch in 1992 and did it ...

It's larger, 9 clearly individual buttons, a red and a green button. Now dad wants one too. He has a 5110 still but I think it's getting a reception issue, the screen also fades now/then.
