The Earthquake couldn't have come at a better time for Bob Parker. He was well down in the ratings up till that point.

All that free TV and media time, no time to *debate* the issue's that Jim might have raised as well, pushed Jim totally off to the side.

As you know I tend to the right, but Anderton would do a better job than that poser.

I confess to being surprised Cicero. What is your criticism of Parker, apart from him being a poser?

There there Cicero, you keep making these stupid assumptions all the time. Keep taking the pills, and maybe you will come right one day.

I can't stand the smarmy prick, so I was curious that we seemed to agree on something for the first time ever.

I gathered that, but thought I would have you on, and bite you did.

That aside, can you understand,at one point Anderton was ahead,we have an earth quake and people say,oh lets vote smarmy.

But then Anderton did tempt fate by saying "the only thing that will stop me winning is an earthquake" the evening before it happened

You know he didn't.

Parker is just one person. He won't have the same power as the new Auckland Mayor. The rest of the Council get some input.
