Curious, does anyone use it or look at it? Hell I doubt some of you newbies even know it exists!

Anyone keen to bring it back to life or should we let it rest in peace?

ps ImageF1 domain is up for renewal next month so will be asking for the usual donations in a few weeks

I vote to let it die quietly.

I vote to let it die quietly.

Indeed - a faq's half-life is short at the best of times in this business, so if it's not actively maintained for new tech, it's somewhat pointless.

Happy to contribute once more for ImageF1 though!

how much do you need to keep imagef1 going?

imagef1 is only 22 bucks a year plus hosting but i host it so don't need to worry about that. Il ask for monies once ive paid the bill next month

I hate to say it, but I think FAQF1 is due to be scrapped. Unless someone comes out of the woodwork and gives it a major overhaul, that is.

I'd like to help out, but, y'know... life kinda gets in the way.

BTW count me in for ImageF1 domain renewal, even if it is next month.

Agreed - it's somewhat out of date, and would take a pretty large investment of time to bring it up to scratch.

What might be more useful is if we had a single sticky thread at the top of the help forum that contained links to a number of other useful threads on various topics. That way there's no duplication of effort, and the links can be updates as new problems and solutions surface.

I knew it existed although I don't think I have ever used it so let it die a peaceful death and be buried with full IT honours (something like a 21 finger salute)

Count me in for imagef1 renewal this time

Yep - do a dave grohl and just let it die...

Def. count me in for ImageF1 too when it comes around.

hmm also just wondering does anyone still use chatf1? I was thinking would be a good idea for an irc channel for us then remember about chatf1.

Why not dual it? Shouldn't be too hard to set up an IRC entry into ChatF1... right?

07-10-2010, 01:02 PM
dunno how it is setup, but I do like irc
