Quite a number of those visits are bots anyway so hardly count toward your fame or lack thereof.

Google seems to only index 155 Press F1 direct Profiles (using site:pressf1.co.nz/member.php?). But generally ranks them by page rank - which some profiles here do have, so consider that a measure of authority/relevancy/popularity if you want. (I think based on content activity per thread, i.e. hot threads - as almost all profiles at the page level have no back links).

That profile does not seem to be displayed as being indexed with that user name in Google, so from a SEO point of view, tells me nothing of interest - i.e. no visibility in Google search results. As I was going to mention much earlier, are likely crawlers from search engines, online back link/content scrapers, keyword scrapers, and similar tools.

In other words Bots.

Maybe not entirely bots, as I suspect some human visits might be interpreted as a bot, as I found out. If I do a string (say > 50) advanced Google Operator keyword searches quickly (and I know many niche site/blog/marketing publishers do), Google Search will shut down sometimes.

Google determine such human targeted searches as a scripted bot/auto function - after visiting profiles, comment pages, contact info, etc. So I think not all visits can be attributed to a auto scripted bot (if that's a true definition of a bot or crawler), but also speedy advanced targeted human search functions, when visiting a profile, that could resemble (and counted) as a bot in Google's view.

Which is more or less what I was asking when Roddy jumped in for some reason best known to himself.

Is there a difference between a bot and search crawlers and if so what is it?

Roddy is an Olympic athlete who competes in the jumping to conclusions event :(

Ummm --Wolf--, it's a joke, implying something 'radio-active' like Superman's nemesis substance Krytonite but actually Surfer Joe is showing that he is aware of David Lange's speech about uranium on breath and cleverly including, to him (Surfer Joe), the foreign substance Marmite (Marmarlite).

I think,.....................but perhaps I am "over-thinking a plate of beans", beans always taste better with H.P.Sauce on them.

Yeah - so THERE! But only in Upsidedown Land.

And - my spell-checker doesn't like either Marmalite OR Marmite.

Now if only I can pronounce "Worchestershire".

So - you say all the consonants and vowels are pronounced?

I thought it'd be something Cockney like " Wooster".
