Another Problem.
Whenever I hit the "print screen" it just locks up my computer.Keyboard and mouse are frozen. Even my "turn off" button does nothing. But the reboot button works and that frees everything.
This does this every time I touch Print screen. It does not matter what program I am in.

Does anyone know the keyboard shortcut to take a screen shot? I've forgotten it an am wondering if that works.

If you are using Win 7 you could type snipping into the search bar to bring up the snipping tool and capture all or part of the screen.

If you just want to capture the active window then it's SHIFT-PRINTSCREEN.

No. It's a Logitech G15. I've ordered a new one. See if that fixes it.

This is getting more serious.
I have installed a new keyboard and the problem is still there!
If I touch the "print screen" my computer just locks up.Even the on/off key won't work. The only thing still working is the reboot button.
Every other key works without trouble.
My keyboard is a Logitech G15. I had an identical keyboard for the past three years and it worked perfectly untill a couple of days ago. I have the latest 64 bit drivers.
Seems to me it's a computer fault, or a windows fault, but what?
To the best of my knowledge I have not changed anything that could cause any problem. One day it was working properly, the next day it wasn't.
My o/s is windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

This won't solve your screen print lock ups but it will probably allow you to take screen shots which come out as BMP files which can be edited and saved as JPG.

Simple as to use. We use it here. Unless they have changed, it is also a freebie.
