And I thought I had stress!

Sphincter rating on a scale from 1 to 10 = 10,000!

Those towers are designed by sadists!

Opps, dropped my screwdriver.

Imagine the shaking of the tower from your and your buddies movements, and from the wind.

And lastly, imagine the whole thing happening on an aging tower where those bolts you're stepping on are corroded.

Good sense would be to incorporate a safety line on the higher points so that the workers don't have to disconnect and reconnect.

I feel sick at the thought of it! :drool :dogeye: :help: :crying:eek:

Glad I watched it before it was removed. Wow! You couldn't pay me enough to climb that high (with or without safety lines)!! If I wanted a view like that, I'd get in a plane...

The reason it was pulled here:

I prefer flying. at least you have a bet of glide time if all your engines go. humans don't really glide that well ;P

Wow !
That was a great watch !
So scary
And when they get top the top of that skinny pole they have to some work !
How the hell can you work with nothing to hold on to !

I wonder what their hourly rate is !

I saw a doco a few years ago about the guys that go up those Petronus towers in Malaysia to clean the shiny gold towers.

But now I have a dilemma...
I don't know which job I would prefer, climbing that tower or THIS JOB. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tzga6qAaBA) :waughh:

Note the voices in each of the videos - they are so calm. I guess when you have "OMFG Jobs" like these guys, you HAVE to be super cool - on the job and off. I cannot see doing either job when feeling "a bit off" as that would probably be your last day, forever.

Not that I would work on that sort of job but if I did I'd be wearing brown underwear!!

Wow, just wow. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXuzrIN_x2M)

I wouldn't say tough, but I would say WOW!
Tough jobs would be like working on an Oil rig in the north sea, working on a deep sea fishing vessel and Heli-logging.

Indeed. My boss went to one a few weeks ago for her sisters birthday, they had a great time, but it was expensive for the time you got.
Are there any in NZ yet ?
