Don't get the new version this one is better, be careful, easy to delete important folders etc, you can switch off delete in options until you are ready.

But does that one work under Vista or Win7? It does not say so. OTOH the one I mentioned does say so and works on Win7 Pro 64.

I've used Diskfrontier, originally spelled Diskfronteer, since DOS days and found it brilliant.

It says it works on all Windows OS's and it does up to XP anyway.

Only a small programme and worth a look.

Hi Folks.
I downloaded windirstat and it seemed to do its stuff. However, what next?
For example: under drive C it lists numerous lines including the following:

a black square: <Unknown> 17.6% Size 10.5 GB
a black square: <Files> 6.1% Size 3.6 GB 16 Items 16 Files.

That's about 25% of my C drive. I do not seem to be able to access those two entries to see what is in them. Anyone care to take me through a Janet and John learning process?
Thanks.

If you have system restore running, the 10Gb could be a number of restore points & paging file?!

I use treesize, better info
