Looks like Firefox is crashing? Or is windows? If its FF, it could be an addon causing it

26-08-2010, 09:31 PM

Disable auto restart, then if it crashes again, tell us what the stop error is. It may also show a file or driver. Tell us what the name of it is. Is bullguard on this?? Does it install an addon or something in FF? Hmnm {CAFEEFAC-0016-0000-0021-ABCDEFFEDCBA} maybe malware. If Malwarebytes is installed, scan the whole hdd

26-08-2010, 09:50 PM
Thanks speedy have disabled auto start yes Bullguard is installed FF add-ons include Adobe DLM, Bullguard Antiphishing Toolbar 1.0 now disabled, Forcastfox, Java console 6.0.21, and Java Quick Starter 1.0

26-08-2010, 09:53 PM
What happens if you disable the java addons?

26-08-2010, 10:07 PM
Thanks will try one thing at a time when it reloaded FF it auto disable the BG add on just running a BG scan at the moment which has caused it to crash before Malwarebytes did the same.

26-08-2010, 10:37 PM

Looks like bad memory can cause that stop error. Test it with memtest or something

26-08-2010, 10:54 PM
That might explain it I added 1gb and left in the 500 mb that was already there maybe i might pull the 500mb

If it was fine with the 512 mb, the 1 GB is probably faulty / bad

26-08-2010, 11:05 PM
Thanks speedy will pull the 1gb

28-08-2010, 03:53 PM
Hi all tested both sticks by themselves, both okay just wont work together, have left in the 1gb ram all sweet.
Thanks for the help, Wayne
