Using the latest version.

Seems I have to disable Noddy when I install Windows Updates.

Otherwise eamon.sys will BSOD the system.

Just me? Never had to do this before.

Had no problems so far either our own or customers - BUT then again I'm only using version 4.2.35 while the latest is 4.2.58. The Virus signature database is currently 5357

If there's a version problem Eset will fix it pronto Via the auto updates.

Is nod32 still the AV of choice? Looked at purchasing it this week....

:(Are you using XP by any chance ?

If so, download and install This here (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=32bc1bee-a3f9-4c13-9c99-220b62a191ee&DisplayLang=en). Also use that file if you use XP and are getting Side by Side Errors in the event viewer.

I'm sure it's still good but I prefer Comodo.

It's free, and honestly, I think that with Defense+ it's actually better at protecting your system (IF you use it properly)

Yes i'm using XP That file fixes the Side by Side error that sometimes happens with XP and Nod32. Originally located the thread here (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=258459) if you are getting the Side by Side error in the Event Viewer, that fixes it - Well has so far on every XP / nod32 install that I have repaired.

The error also can cause Windows to hang/ go slow.
