I,ve finally managed to install a new soundcard which seems to be working fine except on startup the an initialisation error message comes up,VSNDSYS.386 unable to locate Win Sound System Hardware.Check configuration etc,but then just click to continue and forget about it cause it all seems to be working fine.Though I haven't managed to get my midi going working the wavetable on the new board. This may be totally unrelated,I'm new to midi and need to figure out if the keyboard,Juno 106,is even sending out etc,but there may be a glitch with the old driver and the MPU 401 setup in windows but heres the crux, everything in the control panel, multimedia and system manager>multimedia, checks out fine and enabled.Do I worry or just delete the oldfashioned 386 thingy.

Is the file related to a previous sound card?

You may need to remove any entries from system control panel.

Reboot into safe mode and check the device manager tab, for some reason many entries are hidden in normal mode.
