Could you please help me. I am having a lot of trouble trying to find information about Threads, Queues, Priority and Scheduling. This is part of a assesment for an IT course.
If possible could you inform me on these things or at less give me some ideas of where I can get some information on these.
Anything would be greatly appriecated.
Thank you
Chris

I did that last semester for my CS course. The textbook we used was:
Operating System Concepts
Fifth Edition
Silberschatz & Galvin.

You may be able to find in in a libary as it set me back $115. It covers everything you need.

I dont know of any particular sites but i did find the following:

http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/linuxkernel/chapter/ch10.html

http://www-scf.usc.edu/~csci402/crowley/lect5.html

http://osr5doc.sco.com:457/cgi-bin/printchapter/PERFORM/BOOKCHAPTER-3.html

But I haven't read them.

If you don't anything about Threads, Queues, Priority and Scheduling I can post quick descriptions of them for you.
