With big time going I want to stock up on a few good TV series...

I like stuff like Dexter, Lie to Me, Warehouse 13, Dirty Sexy Money, Californication, Heroes...

Anyone know of any other series I'd like? :p

I liked the first season of V, pacing it out quite well. I think they are going to start showing it on the telly here soon if not already.
Besides that I dont really watch tv much.

I agree, someone who has seen it will probably resort to extremely rude language and frequent vomiting.
It is not really all that funny to put childish exhibitionist morons up on tv and invite people to stare at them. Possibly it is less harmful to have them on tv than to have them in parliament, and cheaper than putting them in an appropriate institution.
Also, it makes the commercials more likely to be watched for the greater sincerity and depth of plot.

The new season of top gear is quite nice (s15), in 720p it's stunning!

The IT crowd is good, haven't gotten round to watching all of s3 yet, or any of the new s4.

+1 for breaking bad! s3 finished recently in the US, haven't had a whiff of it here yet though. You really need to watch it from the very beginning though.

I've been working my way through Ponderland recently, I think it is very funny but Russell Brand wouldn't be for everyone I imagine.

If the Bafta award nominations are any guide, the good comedy is all on Channel 4 and most of it isn't getting shown on TV here.

A friend has lent me 2 Dr Who episodes on video tape which come in a tin, the set is called Doctor Who Limited Edition released by the BBC. The 2 episodes are Colony In Space and The Time Monster. The Dr is played by Jon Pertwee in both episodes. I have watched Colony in Space and all I can say is how pathetic it was and to say I watched it on TV back in those days. It also had a young actress by the name of Helen Worth in it. Those who watch Coronation Street will know her as Gail.

This should be what current TV is worth watching (not series long canceled)

but given it can take a year for NZ(SKY, TV123) to bother to show TV's series.....wait till its no longer current , then show show it.

I loved Dr Who when I was a young person, havent seen the later versions. Lol budget special effects the Dailaks wouldnt have had much money spent on them to build them.
Exterminate Exterminate my ass could throw a brick at them and they would fall over and be like a cast sheep.
