I have just upgraded to Windows 7 and like it a lot! But I would like to stop that Hotmail window appearing every time I boot up. Can anyone tell me how, please?

Remove it, if its a program from startup. I cant remember seeing anything about Hotmail, showing up on startup

To stop it opening on startup do the following.

On the right of messenger is a drop down arrow, expand it and tick " Show Menu Bar" As shown Here (http://www.imagef1.net.nz/files/Menu_Bar.jpg) - then go to the menu bar along the top, click on Tools/ Options - in the list on the left click sign in -- then on the right untick the top box, Automatically run windows live messenger when bla bla bla -- Circled here (http://www.imagef1.net.nz/files/Snap_2010.07.18_10.30.13_002.jpg).

Messenger now wont auto run on startup, but it will still run if you double click the icon to launch it.

Thankyou, Wainuitech - you're a scholar and a gentleman. Much obliged!
