View Full Version : How to hide folders in W7 libaries?

Found these pics on the net as an example, pretty much My Videos library has started showing the individual folders in the library folder itself, see first picture (http://www.hack7mc.com/wp-content/uploads/ahref/lh4.ggpht.com/videos5B45D.png). EG My videos (empty), public videos (1) etc.

Originally it did not show them and just showed all the content in the folder, see picture 2 (http://i.msdn.microsoft.com/Dd371721.Windows7_10%28en-us,VS.85%29.jpg). I don't mind if it shows it down the left hand side, because I know you can hide that but I don't want it showing in the folder itself.

I haven't added any new folders to it either. Hope this makes sense

Not what I meant but thanks anyway. Look more closely at the pics I posted, not talking about the stuff on the left hand side, talking about the stuff IN the folder (not my content, the folder names/locations etc)

Change the View then, either by View - Select what you want, or by the drop down/Slider on the right of the page.

I think the problem is, in Pic one you have it as arrange by folder. In the second you have arrange by tag.
