So, I googled Uncle Jim's Computer Help (just bored, but anyway)
Found this so took it and got 2 wrong(11,20), not bad, but it scored me 100%

So, I wonder? How come?

Question 11 needs to be taken out back and shot.

Wait, the entire quiz needs to be taken out back and shot.

After the disgrace of Q11 I skipped the rest and clicked "compute my score"

100% Not bad. You either guess lucky or know your stuff.

Or, Your quiz blows goats, and is in fact broken.

Howe embarrasing for his relatives, Uncle Jim appears to be a bit of a village idiot. I am sure he has a swag of diplomas though, and always shops at HN. (Probably protected with the full Norton suite.)

If he is a tutor, he deserves an Apple. ;)

Bit like NCEA as far as meaningful results go, mostly a feel-good application :banana

Question 11 needs to be taken out back and shot.I wholeheartedly agree with you there. You don't need *any* of the things they list in order to send email. Although the '@' symbol is the common convention it's not the only way of addressing mail.

Question 19 is also blatantly incorrect - POP3 is a protocol you can use to fetch mail from your provider's servers; it has nothing to do with collecting and holding email on your behalf (that honour would normally go to SMTP, and whatever MTA/MDA system your provider uses).

the dude who made the quiz must have learn't his skills from symantec (wow, my science teacher had an argument with me when i said that the school computers were running slow because they had installed symantec. he claimed that symantec was the best and most safest and secure antivirus software there is and said it is un piratable and you can't find cracks etc... wat a dick i say)

i know. he goes on about how windows xp 64-bit only emulates 64bit and that mac's are more advanced and has had 64bit way before windows and that they are so much better and don't get viruses (they can get viruses, quite easily now). i wonder if he's brain damaged

To outsmart him take in a nice big red apple and say this is the only apple that can't get a computer virus
