Good to hear a compliment about an ISP rather than a moan.

I am with Sling shot and using their speed test I got,

D/l 2.86

U/L 0.08

So not quite as impressed.

Horrible lot, I'd never use them again.
Help-desk is staffed by psychotic clowns, it would appear.

Wow - that's surprising, considering it's peak time at the moment. Let us know how things go.

Could you also do a Speedtest to an Australian, and US location?

I would imagine the speed would be quicker if you select Tauranga instead?

Just remember that Callplus is the parent company of Slingshot, so it's not a huge surprise that the speedtest to their server is fast.

Yeah but just try a test to an international location.

Slingshots national is fine. But try pulling down something sizable from an international location during peak time! :badpc:

How much data can you use though? 1GB or something ridiculous?

Not bad, what if you go over the limit?

you have the option to buy extra data blocks or they normally slow your speed..

So if you exceeded your 25GB and were reduced to 64Kbps (I assume this is the speed they would go to) - is the off-peak then still full speed or does it get reduced as well?

I'm with Telecom, so unless you happen to work for Telecom, I'd be very surprised if you know what I've been up to...

I guess it gets reduced as well, but not 100% on that. If I do use more, son will pay extra for GBs to keep speed on. :banana
