View Full Version : How to edit my details - new PressF1 member

Have just joined this forum but cannot edit my details (picture etc). Almost everything on UserCP brings up a 'not authorised' message. I suspect it's because I didn't wait 5 minutes from getting the authorisation email. Any ideas?

A separate question: I haven't had any replies from a few days of emails to the Administrator. Am I being too impatient?

You need to have more than 10 posts to edit your details and set up an avatar. Also need 10 posts or more to use the private message function.

Welcome to PressF1 BBCmicro. :)

We have put some restrictions on new members until they reach 10 posts. These restrictions are:

No access to the Private Message system
No custom signature
No profile detail edits including homepage

Once you have 10 posts, these options will open up for you (within one hour of hitting 10 posts).

New members are free to post straight away (as you can see), can upload a avatar, and change their custom title.

We do not have profile photos enabled on the forum.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi BBCmicro!
Are you really still using a BBCmicro or is your nom de plume just nostalgia?

Nostalgia! But I have all the bits including the UserGuide. Even have video and audio of various games such as Frak. (Hmm - a frame grab of Frak would make a great avatar...)

Thanks to folk who pointed out PressF1 rules
