Looking for a better media player for windows 7 64x, as 20000+ songs tends to overload WMP11.

Thanks

Media player classic is good as is VLC (Video Lan) take your pick, I use both and am happy with the results, they don't do album art like WMP though

I've always liked the free version of MediaMonkey.

Surprised no one has suggested Foobar I use it for audio because of the tabbed interface, it also has many advanced features, bit of a learning curve but very good:

Here is how mine looks, there are many choices, I make mine look like WinAmp ver 2.8 which I also like but because it is not tabbed I moved to Foobar:

Foobar, WinAmp or iTunes will do you right :)

I would strongly suggest you give Foobar a whirl. It's quite an interesting player, very light on resources unlike the others.

I just use the evil iTunes, Found that even if the software is a bit of a resource 'hog' (70MB/4Gb ram is hardly a major for me) the random feature is by far the best and most simple implementation.

I've tried WinAmp and it was just terrible, only way to make a random list was to create a new play list.

Also tried FooBar but made it look horrible with a combination of low-skill and skinning packs

Winamp has a randomize button...

I love Winamp myself

Windows 7 comes with WMP 12 not 11 and seems to quite easily handle over 45,000 songs (in 620 folders) on my 64 bit system with no problems.
