Quite sometime ago someone was asking where you could buy glass cordless kettles. Napiers Briscoes has new stock of Zips Cordless Glass Kettles. I would assume other Briscoes stores would have them as will. I think the price is about $50.

Those things don't perform at all well on a gas stove. The handles etc. are fleeting things.

Is it one of those new silent ones and if so does the water taste like plastic after boiled??

No too both questions. She pretty noisy. It is glass not plastic.

Thanx. The reason I asked as most of the quiet ones steal or plastic have a plastic membrane at the bottom to defuse the water to make them quiet. The result is the water tastes like plastic. We got one last year and it went back a week later. Still have the noisy one. Noticed on Consumers results from their last test others had the same problem..
