I have inherited a Compaq Presario CQ61 with Windows 7. I am aware that Windows 7 supports touch screen but how do you know if the laptop supports touch screen? I would be most interested to use touch screen if at all possible.:thanks

Touch something see if it opens. If it doesnt, then it doesnt support touch

That sounds too simple. Does that mean that I do not have to activate anything?

Aren't you a little much on the second half of life to be inheriting things? :p

This approach only works if the drivers for a touchscreen are already installed.
