My son is after a capture card so he can import gameplay video from his XBox 360 onto the PC, and then edit it and upload it to You Tube (or where-ever).
He is looking at this one

Has anyone used this brand/model, or can suggest any alternatives?
Thanks.

Yeah +1 for those thoughts.

Other than that, I wouldn't bother with capturing it in HD. Especially if it's just going to YouTube.
Something like this is better value-for-money IMO: http://pbtech.co.nz/index.php?item=ADPSTL13854

...but I'm cheap :p

They have plenty of models that will do the job, I would pick one that fits the budget.

Another alternative, depending on if the games even save to the hard drive, is to get something that goes between the Xbox's HDD and the Xbox itself.

A friend of mine had one, he could export his Halo 3 videos straight off the hard drive and directly edit them on his computer.

Any capture card will work. Even the leadtek deluxe tuner I've got will work. It doesnt have to support HD. It'll just take longer to upload it to youtube. Depending on how much you capture
