View Full Version : No emulation System Type 00 still lol

hey there
have an interesting isssue was trying to reformat my hd through recovery dvd, set all the bios to boot through dvd first and when it usally clicks through u know any key its say u guessed it, No emulation System Type 00, never had this before as i have done a couple of times before not changed any hardware or software on system very puzzling have googled but to no evail i thought my fellow kiwis would know best thanks for any help. im running vista 2gig ram 500 hd 512 graphics nec v7250.
any new i deas i how to fix this on guys ?

You should have continued from the other post (http://pressf1.co.nz/showthread.php?p=863606) if its the same prob. Looks like its a common prob with HP systems

yeah not sure about hp im using an nec desktop im running ubuntu now but if i can get my vista disks to work ill partition it and put it on, weird thing is it fired up fine from a ubuntu disk and even an vista boot disk go figure

Looks like an old BIOS may cause this. Update the BIOS then try installing it

hey got it sorted made changes in values in the current control set just booted through after No emulation System Type 00 nice
